A workable solution to a complex deal

We facilitated the sale of a disassembled VIP-configured helicopter, coordinating negotiations, transportation, maintenance, and regulatory formalities, ultimately ensuring it was restored to airworthy condition and delivered to its new owner in Switzerland.
Transforming a Grounded Helicopter into a Successful Sale
A private individual had a VIP-configured helicopter. It had undergone maintenance in the UK and remained partially disassembled, as he felt he had been quoted too much for parts and labour to get it flying again. At the same time, he wanted to sell the aircraft, which he was unable to do while it was in its current state.

After we conducted a physical condition survey, we were able to source a buyer in Switzerland, based on a business case we produced to have the aircraft brought back to airworthy condition.
Seamless Coordination from Sale to Maintenance
We coordinated the sale between the seller and buyer, created the sales and purchase agreement and negotiated the price. There were some challenges in managing the expectations of both the buyer and seller, but reached a point where they were both comfortable.

Once they had reached agreement and the transaction went through, we coordinated the transportation of the aircraft to a partner maintenance organisation based in Belgium. The buyer also commissioned us to project manage the maintenance. This included sourcing parts from the open market and coordinating with the buyer on the cost of both maintenance and parts.
Effortless Import and Delivery Coordination
Once the maintenance was complete, we worked with the aviation and customs regulators on import formalities into Switzerland, keeping the buyer in the picture at all times. We then coordinated the move and the aircraft was successfully flown to its new home.
