Transforming a Grounded Helicopter into a Successful Sale
A private individual had a VIP-configured helicopter. It had undergone maintenance in the UK and remained partially disassembled, as he felt he had been quoted too much for parts and labour to get it flying again. At the same time, he wanted to sell the aircraft, which he was unable to do while it was in its current state.
After we conducted a physical condition survey, we were able to source a buyer in Switzerland, based on a business case we produced to have the aircraft brought back to airworthy condition.
